Eastern Rodworks creates handcrafted, custom fishing rods for all methods of saltwater fishing, including: surf, inshore, jigging and offshore fishing. Our builds combine meticulous craftsmanship with the latest technology and highest quality rod building components available to produce custom fishing rods that not only look great, but function better than mass produced/overseas factory rods. Clients include the best commercial, charter/party boat captains, and recreational fisherman who have thoroughly tested the latest trends, design theories, and components for every type of saltwater fishing.

OUR STORY
From my first flounder and snapper bluefish trips, I’ve been fortunate to spend my life surrounded by the water. My introduction to rod building came over 25 years ago when a gift certificate to take a custom fishing rod building class appeared under the Christmas tree. After spending the winter learning the basics, I was instantly hooked on the new hobby.
I've now spent the better part of my life building, restoring, repairing and (of course) using fishing rods. There’s no greater feeling in the world than fishing with a rod that is built and personalized for you and is specifically tailored for task at hand.
