Compared to the Snap Jig, this versatile rod features a longer overall length (6'6"), wider jig range (.5oz - 2.5oz), and longer handle for easier casting. This rod is capable of throwing an array of lures while still being light enough to snap or vertical jig with. 
 
The Classic Series Sound Rod is a 6'6" ft RodGeeks blank rated for 10-20lb braided line, 1/2 oz to 2 1/2 oz jigs, and designed for a 3000-4000 sized reel. Blanks are available in 5 blank finishes and come with various thread/trim color options, handle materials and component finishes. We also offer our Premium version, which features a "Made in the USA" blank available in 20+ colors and upgraded Fuji TVS reel seat.
